Another request from a lady ,and my first on quilled name. boy was I nervouse on this one, but glad I did it, as she loved it and so did I , the lighting is bad as it was taken at dark, I used burgandy, dark red, yellow, and tan for background. now that I'm over the fear of making names,lol, I'm ready to make more.

Here's a request from a nice lady, she wanted me to quill a sail boat that looks close to there real one, well real as possiable,lol and she wanted 2 of them, one for her and other for a family member. she also wanted a poem that she liked in with it.I made the boat in dark blue as thats what color the real one is, I also decided to put a background to it, thought it would look better than a blank background, well here it is!

 

Hello everyone I have been busy and fineally taking a break to post a little of what I have been doing.
I have made 170 simple Christmas Tagsand even traced the tags with a templet, and cut them out and there going over pretty well!.
Also did another White Tiger, with more markings and shading, a little different from the first one.
I'm starting to put water marks on my pictures as someone tried to claim my first Tiger as theres, so please excuse the printing across the page.

My Daughter saw a pic of blue Dragon and suggested I try and make it so, of course I did, and boy is there alot of blue,lol. My Hubby picked out the colors for the background, I think it help make the Dragon stand out more. Hopefully someone will like it enough to buy it, what do you think?

I made this Tiger for my Son, it took me working on it 7 days, boy am I glad it's done,lol. Talk about a challenge, I think he will like it !!!!

Quilled Angel

thought I had posted this before but dont see it, so here it is, and Angel watching over a baby, wich I placed a picture of the newest grandson face on it, I was so worried that my son and Daughter in law wouldnt like it, but they love it, made me happy!!!!!

Here is a simple project for me, I made this character for my Grandaughter's birthday, she will be 16 and she loves Hello Kitty, It's in a 8x10 frame, hope she likes it!.

Here is my quilled St.Louis Blues Hockey Logo, I was in a hurry when taking this picture, trying to get it done yesturday morning before going to the Market, there's still wet glue and no frame yet. It does look better in person, hope some Fan of hockey buys it, if not Hubby said he'd take it since he is a fan of that team!

Sorry I havent been around in awhile and hope I dont lose my Awesome followers, here I have a picture done for a nice lady who gave me a picture of her  two dogs, sadly one passed away recently. she admired my work and aked if I would do some quilled flowers, and I said yes, she left it up to me on the colors, she did say she liked green, so I put background in green, and layered around picture with a green print. I made small simple flowers with pearl in the center,and then large flowers with the Bee Hive. I will be giving it to her Sat. I really hope she loves it, I love to make people happy!!

Sorry I havent posted anything in awhile, I've been busy with the Markets, have sold a few pictures, everyone has really been into buying my gift Tags, bookmarks,wooden boxes and jewelry boxes, and magnets, along with my paper beaded necklaces, my clowns and Angels, so I've been busy making these and trying to keep up, where I dont run out, havent had time to work on a new picture or different quilling projects. Hopefully I will find time to creat and post soon. Thanks for being my followers and being patient!!!

Love clowns, next best thing to Angels, clowns make me think of happy, fun and parties!
Made these with 1/4th wide strips, except for the hat it is 1/8th wide strip. made fringed flower for the coller, and small punched shapes for patches, hope you like!!!

Quilled Army of Angels

I love Angels, so I decided to make some ,there close to 2'' tall. Worked on them about aweek, would of been less time if some of them didnt come apart as I was shaping, or when putting glue inside the cone shape,lol. I used 1/8th wide strips which is harder that the 1/4th wide strip. Well here they are I love them!!!!!, oh I used the Bee hive for the wings!.

3D characters

there all made with strips of paper, made all of them over a year ago, except the Angel in purple, I finished it today. The Angel is a little over 2'' tall and the others are a little over 4''. These are really a challenge to me, it seems that I get the cone shape almost done and it comes apart,lol, then have to start over, maybe the more I make the better; or should I say easier to shape. I plan on making more Angela with different colored jewls, I'm partial to Angels and maybe more clown as I like them to.

This is the last one of the flower and quotes for awhile, I'll be moving onto my 3 large frames, that I have left , dont know yet what I will quill in them, after those I'll have to wait tell I sell some of my projects before I can stock up again on frames,  so heres the last one, it's different!

Thought I'd try and make some simple bookmarks, with a simple quilled flower.
I used Scrapbooking paper, and laminated it.I added plastic beads on plastic string. I made alot more than whats in this picture, but thought I'd only take a picture of a few.

Here's another picture of flowers and quotes. I used 3 colors for the petals,pink in the center then wraped white and light purple around the pink eye shape.The center is a tight coil with white and light purple.
I made swirls again, still find it a little hard to shape and glue down how I want them, but I guess practice make perfect, or atleast better. I added pearls, I think pearls add a nice touch, what do you think?

Sorry it's been awhile since last post, my creativity hasn't been creative,lol. well got into flower mood, so I desided to make flowers and add quote's to them, I think I mentioned before that I'm not much of a card maker, so the next best thing is a small frame with quilling and quote's. Hopefully I'll get better at making flowers with swirls and different leaves. well here they are, hope you like !!!!!!

Quilled Cardinal

Just finished this Baseball Cardinal, found a picture of the new baseball Stadium , desided to print it and place the Cardinal on top of it to the left, that way part of St. Louis Arch is showing, well Hubby thinks its turned out sharp, well here it is!

I'm so excited and thought I'd share with you all in what I got in the mail today, some blog candy came from Michelle Pearson , her blog is www. inspirationblooms.blogspot.com she is so sweet, thank you Michelle, havent really got into making cards, have done a few quilled ones. This little stash I got makes me want to make a go at it, well heres the products!

Here's another picture of a quilled flower made by a friend Sajedha, that I met on Facebook on Emirates Quilling Guild, I was also happy to recieve in the mail and decided to put it next to a picture of my oldest son that I lost in Sept. I think its a good place for it!

well I have another post and not to long ago from last one which doesnt happen to often. I really like the last picture with the Beehive flowers, that I decided to do another picture with them, colors are different and I decided on puppies this time, I really like how this one came out too, like the color combo.

Kittens with Quilled flowers

There's a craze going on with a new flower called Beehive, the creator is Susan Quillings card, thought I'd make a go of it, mine are a little different and the petal shapes are thinner, but I think they work, here they are

Instead of my usual quilled pictures, this time I came across a picture of the cutest kittens and wanted to use it, and desided on the flowers to go with it, I also used striped scrapbooking paper to go around the kittens, I think it turned out pretty good, what do you think?

today I want to show you 2 pictures, first one was shown on a quilling group on face book, and Anni and others including me thought it would be a challenge to quill it!. Cant wait to see theres, I'm sure they will come out awsome!

now heres the quilled on, I did a different back ground, using white berch tree's, since the branch is white and brown. It didnt turn out as good as I hoped, but thats ok.

Quilled wood containers

Spotted these plain wood containers and thought these would be great for gifts!
I painted them and quilled different flowers and leaves on them, some of the flowers have 2 shades of colors rolled together, it makes a nice effect, you may not see them to good, but I'm hooked on them. I decided to add a notebook and a pen that is wrapped in floral tape that holds a flower at the top. What a useful and decorate idea, also selling these for $6.00 what a buy!

Quilled Eagle

Really not much to say this time, except that it took me a little longer to finished, had bad news that my son had passed away, so I've been trying to deal with that, but did just finish this, would love to hear what you think about the eagle!.
