Well I think the quillers block has gone for now!. I had a great weekend, I sold some pictures and quilled gift boxes, gift tags, book marks, and paper bead necklaces.THere was a lady that I told and showed that there was an artical and picure of my quilling in Quill America magazine, and that I won a ribbon on one of my pieces. She was so excited and asked me to sign my name to the pictures she bought, I was shocked and gladly signed them. She said she had heard of quilling but never knew what it really was, so I explained a little, next thing she asked if I'd sell her the quilling tool that I had displayed with picture of shapes and explanation about quilling, I ended up giving it to her, then she asked me if I would send her some simple patterns, as she lives out of town, so I will do that and give her some quilling sights to check out along with on line quilling stores. It was all exciting for me to share something I love and enjoy, who knows we may keep intouch never know. Well anyway here is my recent project of Bambi and MOM, hope you like!!

Paula,
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so nice. I scrolled down through your blog and I'm just amazed at the things you've created. I don't know how you can work on such big projects, I've seen others work this way as well and I just cannot "get" it. Awesome stuff, keep up the great work; hard to believe you've only been quilling for a couple years.
Good for you Paula. When someone has that kind of interest in your work it just shows how good your quilling is.

Antonella from Quilling Art and Expression sent me, but I LOVE the deer quilling. We live in the country and LOTS of people decorate in rustic style with nature elements. I've been considering framed quilled art as Christmas gifts for many of my family and my nephews definitely need deer. Will be following your blog from now on!!
