3D characters

there all made with strips of paper, made all of them over a year ago, except the Angel in purple, I finished it today. The Angel is a little over 2'' tall and the others are a little over 4''. These are really a challenge to me, it seems that I get the cone shape almost done and it comes apart, lol, then have to start over, maybe the more I make the better; or should I say easier to shape. I plan on making more Angela with different colored jewls, I'm partial to Angels and maybe more clown as I like them to.
well here they are hope you like!!!!!

  12. they are all fantastic Paula.

Just keep practicing with the cone shape. After making nativities for 3 years now I barely think about it and just roll. I find when I think about it too much, that is when it falls apart. I have made 400 cone bodies over this past month for my nativity order(and I need to make 1600)and that is what works best for me.

    enjoy your day

  18. Just wanted to say thanks for popping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment. Your quilled creations are amazing, I can only aspire to make something so lovely. I just finished a quilled sign, but using very basic techniques - I am just getting back into quilling after doing it as a child. Have a lovely day x

  22. These are just adorable, Paula! I had the same problem with the strips came off that was why I don't create much 3D quilling. I think because we used 1/8" strips. I saw a tutorial on Creative Quilling. She suggested using 1/4" strips for 3D quilling.
