Quilled Fairy with owl

Hi everyone, and glad you stopped by!
today I want to show you 2 pictures, first one was shown on a quilling group on face book, and Anni and others including me thought it would be a challenge to quill it!. Cant wait to see theres, I'm sure they will come out awsome!
Heres the picture.

now heres the quilled on, I did a different back ground, using white berch tree's, since the branch is white and brown. It didnt turn out as good as I hoped, but thats ok.

I'm sure I have posted this long ago, but since it being Vetrans Day, I thought I'd post it again. It's away to display pictures of those in my family that have served for our country, and I'm proud to have it hanging on our wall !!!

The quilling is around the pictures , so they are inlayed.

Welcome to Sweet Leaves Blog Hop

Hope everyone is enjoying the blog hop, here is a simple card I came up with. I made marquise or called eyes, to form the shape of  leaves, then I used some ribbon I had in my stash from other projects. then for the letters I used hand punches. Hope you like!!
