I thought I'd try something that took less time and very simple. I came across these wooded crosses that I thought were very nice, and thought it would be neat to decorate them with quilling, so I had my hubby spray them with wood stain, then I quilled some flowers, leaves and scroll, then added long pearls, hope you like!!!!
I have been Quilling since 2009 , started out doing it as a Hobby, and for Friends and Family, before I knew it I became known as the Quilling Lady. I have grown more each year with special orders, I have reg. followers that show up at craft Fairs and events every year. I have made several friends, through my Quilling. It's been great and know it will continue. Please like and share comments, would love to hear from you.

Quilled Owl
It's been awhile since last post, have been busy with Family reunions, Farmers Markets, and First time Art Fair. The Art Fair turned out great, loved it, so many people from miles around showed up and so many were pleased with my work, and could remember the Art from way back, but noticed mine being more detailed. It made me feel really good inside, although I still have a ways to go in improving my work, as I take as a challenge, and I love challenges!. Well dont want to bore you so here is the Owl, hope you like it!!!! You can click on the picture for closer look.
I used Markers to do some shading in the leaves, and feathers around the eyes.
